Student Bursaries

The APTPUO offers a total of six bursaries of 500$ to uOttawa students.

As part-time professors, we teach nearly half the courses at the University of Ottawa, and we’re dedicated to helping our students succeed in their academic careers.

To qualify for the APTPUO student bursary, you must:

  • Be a full-time student at the University of Ottawa;
  • Have completed one academic year;
  • Have submitted a financial aid application to the Financial Aid and Awards Service or to the International Office, where applicable.

To apply for the Student Bursary, you must:

Note: The University of Ottawa’s scholarship and bursary search engine personalized its results according to the student’s profile. If the APTPUO bursary does not appear within the results, it means that the student is not permitted to apply to it.

Awards are given on the basis of financial needs and academic merit. The Financial Aid and Awards Service makes an initial screening of the applications and submits its recommendations to the APTPUO, where the Awards Committee then makes final selection. Its decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
