We are pleased to announce that the members voted 84% in favour of the ratification of the tentative agreement. As such, the collective agreement that governs the present term covers the three-year period from September 1, 2018 through to August 31, 2021.
The changes made to the most recent agreement can be found here, in the language in which they were negotiated.
The new provisions of the collective agreement are now in force. Salaries and any retroactive payments will be paid within 120 days. In the case of the Faculty of Law, negotiations are still underway for certain particularities in the Collective Agreement, including a seniority list, additional compensation for large classes and especially the increases to catch up to the regular per-course rate.
